VinFuture Foundation officially launched a series of six InnovaTalk webinars focusing on key areas of science to introduce new technologies that may provide grounds for solutions to urgent global issues. Each seminar will be led by a member of VinFuture’s scientific councils or a laureate. Invited guest speakers are leading international scientists from different high-tech fields and distinguished professors from top global universities and research institutes.

Prof. Zhenan Bao (Stanford University, USA) became the honorable laureate of the Inaugural VinFuture Special Prize for Female Innovators on January 20th, 2022. Her research paves the way for artificial electronic skin (e-skin) that replicates the mechanical and sensory capabilities of real human skin, offering hope to millions of individuals living with disabilities.

Dr. Karikó’s path to her current success is a journey of passion and happiness as well as hardships Now, even when her work is known to the whole world, for Dr. Karikó, happiness simply means doing the job of a scientist: trying to find answers to every question in life and putting these answers together to come up with a solution to a dilemma, so that one day, someone will hopefully benefit from her research.
